To provide Industrialists and the Composites market with a brand-new tailormade event, the largest composites organization in the world, JEC Group, has strategically partnered with Messe Augsburg, one of the most important exhibition venues in Southern Germany, and Carbon Composites e.V., the carbon cluster (with over 300 affiliates), a member of the German trade association "Composites Germany", covering the entire value chain of high-performance fibre composite materials across German-speaking countries.
“We have purposefully chosen the southern region of Germany to launch this new event, not only because it is the center point of High-Technology Fibers industrials, research centers and academics, but also due to it being at the heart of an impressive end-users markets concentration from industries such as Automotive, Aerospace and Machining, to name but a few”, explains Mrs Frédérique Mutel, JEC Group President & CEO. Entitled “High Performance Composites and Lightweight Manufacturing”, this event will address the following sectors:
Indeed, the event’s ideal location is one of its key assets for attracting the thousands of expected visitors and hundreds of participating brands. “We are proud to already be able to count on the participation of major companies including Bullmer, Henkel, Kuka, Premium AEROTEC, Polynt, Schneider Electric and Siemens, not to mention a host of smaller suppliers, manufacturers and distributors, who represent the entire composites value chain”, adds Anne-Manuele Hébert, JEC Group Sales Director.
To maximize networking opportunities, the participants will benefit from pre-arranged B2B meetings, which have proven very fruitful at all previous JEC events. Furthermore, networking lunches and evening gatherings have been planned in order to bring people together and encourage encounters.
During the course of the 3-day event, participants will have the opportunity to attend top- quality conferences featuring renowned speakers on topics such as:
These conferences will be complemented by site visits to factories such as Premium Aerotec, MT Aerospace and the SGL Group, as well as to research centers run by DLR/ Fraunhofer, the University of Applied Sciences Augsburg and ITA (the Aachen Institute for Technical Textiles).
