Frédérique MUTEL, JEC Group President and CEO and Klaus DRECHSLER, Head of the Institute for Carbon Composites (LCC) have just signed a Memorandum of Understanding Tuesday March 12 2013 at 5 p.m.
The agreement is for a model collaboration between Munich Technical University and JEC Group, the world’s leading composite network.
This partnership consists in the organization of a shared technological program that will address the Asian market. The program must show its worth at the I.C.S. (Innovative Composites Summit) at JEC Asia (25-27th June 2013). TUM Asia, established in Singapore for over ten years, will also hold a conference about composite materials and technologies, focusing on new opportunities in Asia.
Frédérique Mutel, JEC Group President and CEO says: “Asia is a growing market for composites. Our partnership with TUM will bring more added-value to this market. The next I.C.S. in Singapore, in June 2013, enriched by the participation of TUM, will be the place to discuss all major challenges for composites in Asia”.
Dr. Drechsler, Head of the Institute for Carbon Composites (LCC) adds: “Together with our strong partnership with JEC Group, TUM-Asia and Singapore Polytechnic, we will address the entire value chain of composite materials within our collaboration.”
