Orgagec 2008

Construction materials such as paving bitumen, plastics, composite materials, wood…, products processed to build, repair, protect or reinforce existing constructions such as the admixtures for concretes, the products for repair and protection of the concretes and steels, paints, geomembranes and geotextile used in geotechnics…, all have in common an "organic" chemical composition, either natural or synthetical. Orgagec'08 proposes to give a progress report on the importance and the use of these materials and products. It also proposes results on the ongoing research. Orgagec'08 will try to connect what reconciles technical performances – mechanical, thermal behaviour, fire protection, durability… - and sustainable development - impacts and stress on the environment.
