The show will take place in Marina di Carrara, at the fair complex of CarraraFiere the 29/30/31 October 2008. It will represent the first meeting point for all the composite industry actors, from research to finished product.

CarraraFiere presents the first edition of Compotec, the first exhibition in Italy for composites Technologies, Production and Processing. An absolutely new event in the Italian fair panorama with international ambitions which addresses to the innovative world of composite materials.

A wide area will be devoted to composites applications, where materials and processing techniques (molding, glueing, fixing) can be directly tested and discussed by technical experts. Compotec will host also events where know-how will be shared: technical seminars (not just scientific or a mere promotion of labels) where knowledge, data and research results can be transfered to and among operators.

Compotec aims at becoming the meeting point for Universites and Materials Producers who need to meet Processing Companies, the ideal setting where Research Centres can evaluate the real needs of the market and onthe other hand where the market can sell the results of the research.

Compotec will be organized as a direct and integrated system of booths together with workshop areas and technical seminars. A system which is inspired by the highest innovative and well tested trade shows, that we are confident operators of the different industrial sectors will highly appreciate.

Compotec is a fair where Technical Managers, Production Directors and all Desicion Makers can find a direct interest within an extremely professional context.
