14th Addcon - plastics additive Conferences will be held on 15-16 October 2008 in Barcelona, Spain.

Increasing materials and energy costs, technical performance requirements and regulatory pressures mean that there is increasing pressure to employ the most effective and efficient plastics additive technology.

Smithers Rapra is currently recruiting speakers for the fourteenth conference in this ever important area. There are now only a few weeks remaining to submit an abstract for this high profile event and join a panel of prominent figures from companies such as Borealis, Chemtura, K-Tron and Hybrid Plastics amongst others.

Papers are invited on new technical developments relating to additive materials and optimising compounding technology, although a limited number of papers relating to compounding machinery, marketing developments or legislative topics may also be accepted.
