Wood Plastics Composites 2008 will be held at the Renaissance Penta Vienna
Hotel in Vienna, Austria from 14-16 October 2008.

The market for wood plastic composites is changing rapidly in Europe, enabled by a series of developments in production technology as well as improved marketing programmes and yet the European market is still only a fraction of the size of its potential.
AMI's Wood Plastics Composites 2008 conference will draw on experience across Europe to bring focus on the latest developments in the industry. This is AMI's 6th Wood Plastics Composites conference and the event is now well-established as the leading European and international event. AMI expects participants from over 30 countries and 6 continents, providing the most international context with which to understand the industry. 

The programme will open with a Market Development session including presentations from Silvadec, WPC Corporation and the Washington State University. There will be an update on the European standardisation on WPC given by Deceuninck.

The technology session will include presentations from Cincinnati Extrusion GmbH, Conenor Ltd, Wvhler Brush Technologies GmbH, Agrolinz Melamine International and Milacron Europe Inc.

Other presentations will cover the latest in material developments with papers from Kompetenzzentrum Holz GmbH, Beologic N.V, Solvin, Elkem Materials, Chemtura Corporation and Biocide Information Ltd.

This international event will be accompanied by an extensive table top exhibition enabling delegates to find out about all the latest technical developments for wood plastic composites. Furthermore, attendees will have the opportunity to join a practical demonstration at the Cincinnati Extrusion's premises on the afternoon of 16th October. The conference sessions will be simultaneously translated into German and Italian.
