New president for EPTA - Past chairman goes to EUCIA

The EPTA Membership, at the last General Members Meeting in Amsterdam, has elected a new Chairman, now called President, by voting Mr. Luigi Giamundo, into the Board. Mr. Giamundo is owner of ATP Pultrusion Company in Italy. This is the second term of Luigi Giamundo. His first term on the Board was from November 1992 until June 1996. Luigi indicated that he has a little more time today, since he passed most of the daily management of ATP to the younger Giamundo generation.
Meanwhile, the past Chairman, Mr. Eric Moussiaux was proposed by the EPTA Board to become a member of the EUCIA Presidium. Eric has accepted this post and will be installed shortly to represent the interest of the Pultrusion Industry on behalf of EPTA. EPTA is the first European Interest Group represented within this EUCIA, the European Composite Industry Umbrella Association. The involvement of EPTA within EUCIA is a result of the closer cooperation over the last year between both organisations. A major achievement of this cooperation has been the institution of the recently announced new Composite Exhibition in Europe: "Composites Europe".
