Reichhold, Prosim and Ege Kimya announce strategic collaboration in Turkey

Reichhold, Prosim and Ege Kimya have jointly announced the creation of a strategic alliance in Turkey in the fields of unsaturated polyester resins for composites applications and saturated polyester resins for powder coatings.

Reichhold and Prosim have jointly formed Reichhold Turkey which will market composites and powder coating resins in the Turkish market. Prosim has been involved in selling Reichhold products since 1999.

Reichhold Turkey has signed a manufacturing agreement with Ege Kimya to source these products. Ege Kimya will upgrade their resin manufacturing plant in Adapazari, Turkey to manufacture state-of-the-art Reichhold products.

Doug Frey, Reichhold executive vice president, global composites stated, “Business development in rapid growth markets is very important for our future. We are very excited about this new alliance with two local partners.”
