Polytec Group opened new headquarters
The Polytec Group, the Hörsching-based automotive supplier, opened its new headquarters on Friday 15th June. The new prestigious and functional glass building took just a year to construct. Some 3.2 million euros were invested in the new site which has 2,900 m² of space.
The old site was simply no longer adequate for a company of our size. said CEO Friedrich Huemer in his speech. Polytec would continue to grow through making additional acquisitions, he claimed. This international group sees both the USA and China as potentially interesting markets.
The Polytec Group has grown from a small five man company in 1986 to having close to 6,000 employees today at 31 sites across the world and an annual turnover of around 750 million euros. Over the next few years, Huemer hopes to reach the one billion mark.
A new building with glass-fronted openness
The finance and controlling department, executive board and management offices are all housed in this bright and airy building. For the Guests were welcomed in the spacious 4m high entrance hall by a bright red Ferrari, as Polytec produces the front and rear bumpers of the Ferrari 599 GTB Fiorano for this Italian car manufacturer. An exhibition of additional interesting products from the automotive industry was on display in the prestigious showroom, highlighting the comprehensive product range and high level of expertise of the international Polytec Group.
