David Bugler appointed sales director of British Rema
David Bugler has been appointed Sales Director of British Rema, the Chesterfield-based powder processing specialists.
David has almost twenty years experience of designing and selling process capital equipment and systems into technical markets including pharmaceuticals, foods, cosmetics, paints and industrial composites: “I was originally apprenticed as an electrical and mechanical engineer and this initially led me into designing clean rooms, containment systems and turnkey processing solutions. This practical hands-on experience has been invaluable since I moved into the selling and marketing of process systems. I am really looking forward to meeting both existing and prospective customers and ensuring that British Rema continues to build on its excellent reputation.”
David’s appointment was welcomed by Simon Cuthbert, British Rema’s Managing Director. “David joins the business at a very exciting time. We are restructuring the group to enable the implementation of an ambitious growth strategy which will probably include acquisitions as well as organic growth; the goal is to establish British Rema as the pre-eminent name in UK powder processing.”
In his spare time David is an athletics coach, and in his younger years was a successful sprinter. “I think he’ll be first to the coffee machine in the morning” said Cuthbert.
