CRP is also a pioneer in RM applications: the R&D Department has developed 5 different WINDFORM® composite materials (GF, PRO, PRO B; XT, FX) for Laser Sintering, commercialized worldwide. WINDFORM® materials are Rapid Manufacturing composite materials to manufacture high-end functional and production parts with Laser Sintering technology. The original carbon fibres filled WINDFORM® XT challenges the RP and RM world with never-before achieved performance.
It also allowed a striking RM application in producing a special dashboard to host the motorbike’s electronic system developed internally by CRP Racing, which had to be light and stiff at the same time. Completely different from the original one, a new support was needed and the positioning of the exhaust servo motor had to be changed as well.
The new Windform® XT dashboard made by SLS has a big news indeed: it is an all-in-one ECU, DATALOGGER and DASHBOARD box!

CRP, owner of WINDFORM patent applications and registered mark, guarantees unique technology transfer, easy on-site adoption and reduced training time.

On the other side, Windform® FX, the newest flexible material was launched in 2007.
Thanks to its structural properties, Windform® FX was chosen from CRP Racing to manufacture a 125cc motorbike reed valve, a component that has to be stiff and overall resistant to shocks and vibrations.
