Large portfolio of companies for Ashland Distribution in China

Ashland Distribution will now carry DSM products in China
Ashland Distribution has announced on April 16, 2008 an agreement with DSM China. As a truly global partner, Ashland Distribution is representing DSM in Europe, North American and now in China with a series of products including Akulon® PA 6, Arnite® PET and PBT, Stanyl® PA46 and Arnitel® TPE-E. Ashland Distribution operates in the key manufacturing areas throughout China that provide customers with a trusted source for branded thermoplastic resins and other products and services.

Ashland Distribution will now carry Clariant Masterbatch products in China
Ashland Distribution has announced on April 16, 2008 an agreement with Clariant Masterbatch Inc. to market their color concentrate and specialty additives in the China market. Ashland Distribution operates in key manufacturing areas throughout China and provides customers with a trusted source for branded thermoplastic resins and other products and services.

“We are excited about the opportunity to partner with Clariant Masterbatch in China, extending the relationship we have with them in North America and Europe,” said Larry Hunt, commercial director, Ashland Distribution China. “This important addition to our line card aligns with our strategic plan to expand our plastics business into higher growth regions such as China. We are building a thriving business here, leveraging our knowledge of the chemical and plastics markets, our global supplier network, and our global sales and technical resources to create value for our customers in China.”

Clariant Masterbatches products are marketed under six global brand names: Remafin® masterbatches for olefins; Renol® masterbatches for engineering resins, styrenics and PVC; Cesa® additive masterbatches; Hydrocerol® chemical foaming and nucleating agents; Omnicolor® universal color masterbatches; and Enigma® special effects.

Ashland Distribution will now carry BASF engineering plastics products in China
Ashland Distribution has announced on April 15, 2008 an agreement with BASF to distribute Ultrason* polysulfone resins, Ultraform* POM, and Ultramid* PA 6/6 engineering resins in China, concentrating on North American based multi-national companies. Ashland Distribution operates warehouses in the key manufacturing areas throughout China to provide customers with a trusted source for branded thermoplastic resins and other products and services.
