James Austin, Director Business Development, to leave Gurit
Gurit, a leading manufacturer of high-end composite materials for applications in Wind Energy, Transportation and Marine markets, announced that James Austin, Director Business Development, decided to leave Gurit to pursue other career opportunities. James Austin joined Gurit’s UK subsidiary in 1995 and served on a Group-level as Chief Operating Officer and Managing Director of Gurit’s operations in Canada since 2006. In 2008, he was nominated Director Business Development. Gurit wishes him every success in his endeavours.
Gurit’s operations are divided into three business activities (Wind Energy, Transportation, Marine) which will be fully staffed with the arrival of the new General Manager Wind Energy. In future, business development tasks will be taken on by the General Managers and the position of Director Business Development will not be refilled. The Gurit Executive Committee now comprises six rather than seven people.
