With its “Composites Solutions for Mobility Summit”, JEC Group is addressing the issue of an increasingly diverse and swiftly-evolving transportation industry by creating a platform to promote the benefits, applications and growing relevance of composite materials, as well as the solutions they offer for mobility today and tomorrow. To illustrate the many benefits composite materials offer to the automotive industry, some of the parts that will be showcased highlight the different applications of composites for mobility, such as: lightweighting, design freedom, aesthetics and flexibility, resistance, strength and stiffness, function integration and fewer parts, hybridization, fuel storage, connectivity integration, battery housing and integration. Just to name a few examples from the pieces displayed in 2019: a glass fiber reinforced polymer bracket for wireless charging from Daimler, a door panel from HRC Group, a leaf spring suspension from Kolon, a tunnel reinforcement from Hexion and a lightweight liftgate from Magna.

The Summit aims to welcome a wide variety of key contacts from the Automotive industry, with C-Level Management from R&D, Design, New Products, New Materials, etc.
