Company description

CETMA is a Private Research of Engineering Methods Centre founded in 1994. CETMA is organised in three Operative Departments which reflect the main fields of its activities: Information Technology Department (ITD), Design, Graphic & Communication Department (DEG), Engineering of Materials and Structures Department (EMSD). The last one is focussed on the study and development of innovative technologies and materials and the technological transfer to the Industry. CETMA has a wide experience in the field of polymers and composites. In particular CETMA researchers have acquired a strong basic knowledge about structural design of mechanical components, development of processes for production and recycling of composite materials, rheological and mechanical characterization of polymers and composites, predictive tools for the simulation of products, process optimisation, thermo-mechanical simulation of complex systems. CETMA has a technological laboratory with the most advanced equipments for thermosetting and thermoplastic composite technology.
