Company description

The Northwest Composites Centre brings together experts and facilities from the Universities of Bolton, Lancaster, Liverpool and Manchester. High strength composites have gained great acceptance in areas where their lightweight and exceptional strength outweigh cost issues, for example in the aerospace industry. Now, improvements in materials and less labour-intensive manufacturing processes mean composites can be economically used in a growing number of applications and industries. These include: automotive, marine and rail. The NW Composites Centre offers the following benefits:
