The École nationale daérotechnique (ÉNA) is a campus of Collège Édouard-Montpetit specialized in aeronautics. Three different programs are offered: Aircraft Manufacturing Technology, Aircraft Maintenance and Avionics.
Composite materials are studied in the two first programs. In both programs, materials, processes and best practices are taught to students to make them proficient with the related techniques.
The ÉNA Continuous Education department is developing a brand new curriculum aiming to train individuals in order to become liaison technicians in a composite design environment. In addition to materials, processes and design courses, it is planned to have a more advanced CATIA composite design course will students will learn to use ply and zone based approaches.
The Centre technologique en Aérospatiale (CTA) is a R&D center oriented to the development of new techniques related to manufacturing processes and non-destructive techniques.
