MonolitPlast LLC was founded in February 2010 for the purpose of industrial development of new science-intensive pultrusion technology of manufacturing profile products from reinforced thermoplastics. Profile products of various types are widely used in building and construction sector, in transport and electrical power engineering as components of load-carrying and decorative elements. Most common and relatively cheap sections of steel and aluminum alloys possess insufficient chemical resistance while operation.
As a result, operating costs of maintaining them in serviceable condition increase, and the operational reliability of constructions decreases, thereby the probability of incapacitation and breakdown rises. This concerns particularly steel frames of livestock facilities, chemical departments, building and enhancement of roads, mines and underground pipeline, etc.
Their technology implies manufacturing of profile products of different cross-sections: solid and closed, rectangular, square, round and annular. Profiles, produced by their company, are reinforced with high-tensile fibers in the longitudinal direction in the part of cross-section, that sustains maximum tensile stress while operation, and with randomly arranged fibers – in other parts of the section, where shear stresses are high. The following hybrid structures possess the highest specific strength and stiffness rates, the lowest structural weight, and therefore the lowest cost per unit payload. It should be noted that MonolitPlast LLC is one of the first industrial enterprises of the Republic of Belarus, founded for implementation of an innovative project in the sphere of high technologies.
