Wolfangel GmbH – Successful Certification according to DIN EN ISO 9001
The long-established company Wolfangel GmbH is famous for producing durable machines, plants and accessories of high-quality in composite manufacturing.
In 2011 the management decided to have the company certified and in April this year the certification audit was successfully completed.
“In our opinion the certification was the next logical step, first, in order to give our customers confidence in our products and second, we have used this process to examine and to improve our own procedures”, Heike Wolfangel said about the successful certification.
In December 1976, Wolfangel GmbH was founded by its original owner Rolf Wolfangel and today it has got about 20 employees. Since 1977, plants and machines (gel coat spraying plants, fibre spraying plants, dosing units, mixers and injection plants) to produce fibre composite parts have been developed and built on this site. This company is the only producer of such plants with its own small production of fibre composite parts in Germany. Thus customers benefit from the possibility to realistically examine developments under producing conditions and to receive ideas to optimize their processes.
Wolfangel is active in the AVK – Industrievereinigung Verstärkte Kunststoffe e. V. (Federation of Reinforced Plastics) and in the Carbon Composites e. V. (CCeV) and it is involved in research cooperation with the TU Chemnitz and with the Kunststoffzentrum SKZ (Plastics Centre). Experience-related workshops and tutorials have been arranged for more than 20 years and have been attended by participants from Germany and the whole world.
Today Wolfangel is quality leader regarding equipment for the composite industry. Apart from standard plants to process different resin systems, special machinery construction has always been its particular strength. Thus individual solutions, being oriented to the customers’ practical needs and aims, are developed in close cooperation with its partners. A set of offers in the area of process control engineering meets the issues quality assurance, process reliability and reproducibility.
The plants are used in more than 30 countries worldwide – e.g. for the production of hardtops, boats, wind turbines, bathtubs, water slides, rolling stock, containers, coverings and automotive body parts.
