Following the evolution of the composites market, JEC Show Paris will focus this year on 4 main thematics.

JEC informs composite professionals about major events, economic, technical and technological developments, new products and applications.

Country of honor : SPAIN

Choosing Spain as Country of Honor in the JEC Show Paris 2011, JEC Group wants to point up the importance of the Spanish market in the composites sector. In the European competition, Spain is ranking 4th with a production representing nearly 10% of the composites European market.

More than 30 companies will be present at JEC Show and the Paris exhibition is expecting more than 1 000 spanish visitors.
 
This year, Spain will preside over the Awards Ceremony and will give the “Wind Energy” award to the Spanish company GAMESA.
 
The ceremony will be held on March 29th at 5.00 PM in Pavillon 1 at Porte de Versailles.

JEC Composites Show 2011 : Joint stand for lightweight design from North Rhine-Westphalia.
 
Every year, all the players from the composites sector gather at the leading trade fair JEC Composites Show in Paris, regarded as the flagship tradeshow in the international composites scene with around 27,700 visitors and more than 1,000 exhibitors. From 29 to 31 March, 2011, North Rhine-Westphalian companies and institutes from research and education will have the exclusive opportunity to present themselves at the NRW joint company stand.

Being part of the NRW state stand offers numerous advantages : The exhibitors can participate in this most important international tradeshow at favorable conditions and receive support from the state clusters with preparations and logistics. The approx. 260 m² NRW stand is very well positioned and provides individually designed exhibitor spaces in addition to a representative joint area. Expert contributions in trade fair forums and an attractive accompanying program allow the exhibitors to present themselves to a broad professional audience, political dignitaries and international media representatives.

The JEC offers a comprehensive overview of the entire composites value chain – from the manufacturing of raw materials and the production of composites to downstream services. The areas of application addressed in particular are automotive engineering, aerospace, construction, shipping and transport.
 
The NRW joint stand is organized by the foreign trade development agency NRW.International and the nano-micro+materials cluster NanoMikro+Werkstoffe.NRW in collaboration with the plastics cluster Kunststoff.NRW and the Cologne Chamber of Industry and Commerce. The trade fair presentation is funded by the Ministry for Economic Affairs, Energy, Construction, Housing and Transport of the State of North Rhine-Westphalia.
