2010 report
There were 27,500 visitors over the three days of Europe’s 2010 JEC Composite Show in Paris.
Of these, 69% came from abroad (96 different countries) and 31% from France. Their main motivation was to discover what new developments the global composite industry would present, given the recovery after a difficult 2009.
Continuing Growth of Visitors
Users are more and more won over by
composite materials.
The Show is a genuine platform for the global composite industry, and one of its defining characteristics is its end-user oriented position.
About two out of three visitors are users of composite solutions in the main application sectors, namely aerospace, wind energy, automotive, land transport (train, bus, subway, tram), construction, civil engineering, marine, electrical & electronic equipment, sports & leisure, consumer goods, etc. Aerospace, building and construction, mass transportation
and wind energy are still the most innovative and dynamic sectors. This year, the JEC Paris platform provided an opportunity to launch a number of products and services.
Paris, the European capital for composites
The Show brings in visitors from everywhere in the world, with 96 different nationalities.
In 2010, there was a strong growth in visitors from North America (+33%), Europe (+35%), Japan/Asean (+34%).
