Composites Recycling Conference 2020

United States, Aurora

The composites industry has made progress in composites recycling with greater awareness, product development, and industry collaboration.

Recycling is an important issue for all composites manufacturers, both to reduce costs and to better compete with steel and aluminum. ACMA’s Composites Recycling Conference offers new insights, information and innovation in composites recycling. Attendees will explore the latest recycled composite products and OEM’s will be on hand to discuss their role in the development of a self-sustaining composites recycling industry.

This event will highlight a progress report on Phase 2 of the collaborative research project with IACMI – The Composites Institute and American Composites Manufacturers Association (ACMA). This project aims to improve the sustainability of both glass and carbon fiber composites through the development of cost-effective energy and fiber recovery processes.

Attendees will:

  • Gain hands-on access to the latest in recycled composite products. See first-hand how leading manufacturers are using recycled materials in their products and learn ways they can do the same in their operations.
  • Learn best practices to reduce scrap and increase productivity. Sustainability experts and industry leaders that are implementing cutting-edge recycling solutions in their companies will present the latest insights and best practices.
  • Discover how their business can plug into the latest developments in recycling technology.

This event will take place on 19-21 May 2020 in Aurora, CO, United States.
