Composite materials, whether for use in high performance structures or in commodity applications, present many unique mechanical testing problems. This two-day seminar will direct engineers and technicians toward the proper selection of a test method for each specific application from the many methods currently available.
The two-day seminar will be presented by Dr. Daniel Adams, Vice-President of Wyoming Test Fixtures and Professor of Mechanical Engineering at the University of Utah. Professor Adams has 33 years of experience in the field of Composite Materials, and has published over 110 technical papers in archival journals and conference proceedings. Currently, he chairs both the Testing Committee of the Composite Materials Handbook (CMH-17) and the Research and Mechanics Division of ASTM Committee D30 on Composite Materials.
This event will take place in Charleston, South Carolina, United States, on 13-14 November 2013.
