JEC Group have brought together the international community of composites leaders and executives in our Composites Circle as an unique networking opportunity to meet with both peers and future partners.
The resins supplier expands the industry’s selection of cured-in-place pipe resins with new Vipel® L085-PPA epoxy novolac vinyl ester. This new technology has been created for applications that need resistance to aggressive chemical solutions and high heat.
AOC says that Vipel L085-PPA Series offers proven corrosion resistance, durability and toughness in formulation packages that are designed for CIPP processing. The resin’s epoxy novolac chemistry provides superior resistance to acids, bases and many organic solvents.
Vipel L085 vinyl ester is also said to performs well at high temperatures with a heat distortion temperature (per ASTM D648) of 300°F (149°C).
“Our CIPP line is the most complete in the industry and also includes ultra-low volatile organic compound (VOC) resins for emission- and odor-sensitive projects, as well as renewable- and recycled-content resins. Our experienced technical service team can customize formulations to meet project-specific handling and process requirements.” said Fletcher Lindberg, AOC's Business Manager, Open Mold Reinforced Resins.
