Avior signs a multi-year contract with Bombardier

The scope of work includes a combination of composite parts, fabricated metal parts and lightweight hybrid structural sub-assemblies and could generate a value of over $40 million in business over the next seven years.

Avior Integrated Products Inc. announced reception of a contract award from Bombardier Aerospace to manufacture structural components on the 22nd of June 2011.These new parts and assembly packages are applicable to Bombardier’s Challenger*, CSeries*, Global*, Learjet 85*, Q400* NextGen*, and CRJ* NextGen* aircraft programs.


The award reflects Avior’s commitment to quality and delivery performance as well as its positioning strategy to expand and invest in new technologies in composite and metal fabrication. This new scope of work is expected to create over 30 new jobs over the next year in Laval and Granby, Québec.

Avior Integrated Products is a privately-held Canadian company, and full-service supplier of lightweight structural assemblies for the international aerospace industry. The company’s core operations are manufacturing and assembly of composites, acrylics and metal components, and engineering capabilities in manufacturing support and new product development.
