China national wind power equipment quality inspection center established

After two years of intense construction, China national wind power equipment quality inspection center first phase has successfully put into trial operation. This center is located in Yancheng High Tech Zone in Jiangsu Province.

As an important part of national energy wind power technology and equipment evaluation center, the national wind power equipment quality inspection center has a total investment of US$ 42.5 million (256 million Yuan).

The center covers a land area of 34,000 square meters. The center presently has the capacity to perform the wind turbine type tests, wind turbine anti-lightning tests, wind turbine anti seismic performance tests.

After all the phases have been completed, the center will become the only state-level statutory third party inspection agency in China domestic wind power industry.

National energy wind power technology and equipment evaluation center audit unit is China National Energy Administration (NEA).
