Citadel Plastics names Mario Sandoval vice president of global operations west Chicago

Citadel Plastics Holdings, a compounder of thermoset and thermoplastic resins announced the appointment of Mario Sandoval as vice president of global operations of Citadel Plastics.

In his role Mr. Sandoval will be responsible for leading Citadel’s global operations in the Americas, Europe and Asia. Mr. Sandoval brings an extensive background in safety, compounding processes, and six sigma from GE Plastics, Johns Manville, and most recently as the vice president and chief integrated supply chain officer for Hollingsworth and Vose.

Previous positions held by Sandoval include global manufacturing manager and vice president and operations leader for polymershapes, Director of Operations, Performance Materials Division for Johns Manville’s $500M fiberglass business.

Mr. Sandoval is a master black belt and holds a bachelor’s degrees in chemical engineering and computer science from New Mexico State University.
