JEC Group have brought together the international community of composites leaders and executives in our Composites Circle as an unique networking opportunity to meet with both peers and future partners.
JEC Europe 2014 - Compose will present its new CT1 subsidiary dedicated to composite processing.
To meet its customers’ needs and broaden its range of services, Compose set up CT1 in 2013 in a 600m² state-of-the-art composite manufacturing facility equipped with RTM, hot forming, SMC and compression technologies.Activities:• Tool/mould checking (dimensions, operating criteria)• Tool/mould testing in operating conditions (moulding/demoulding of the first parts)• Tool/mould acceptance together with customers• Moulding of first parts and pre-series• Composite parts machining• Technical assistance for research projects • Process development and technology transfer• TrainingEquipment:
• Compression moulding presses: 100T, 250T and 300T• Heating plates • Infrared oven (400°C) • Oven up to 250°C• Temperature controllers (oil/water) from 30 to 120kW• 1k and 2K dispensing equipment• Vacuum equipment for RTM mould control • Transfer line• Low-temperature storage equipment (-18°C)• Control and recording means • Milling and finishing of composite parts• 3D control• Two technical halls of 160 and 360m² equipped with suction piping, a pressurized area and 10T cranes
Several series of tests have already been run successfully for aerospace, automotive and construction applications (RTM, compression and hot forming).More information: www.compose-tools.comBooth: R7
