JEC Group have brought together the international community of composites leaders and executives in our Composites Circle as an unique networking opportunity to meet with both peers and future partners.
Composite Cluster Singapore Pte Ltd (CCS) and Componeering Inc. have signed an agreement to substantiate their collaboration regarding Componeering’s ESAComp software in the ASEAN region.
As a gateway to Asia, Singapore is the ideal location for Componeering to advance its international activities in the ASEAN region. As a center of excellence in the region, CCS utilizes its network and expertise to provide customers with composite design solutions. On signing this agreement, CCS becomes the regional distributor and technical support center for Componeering’s ESAComp software.
“The ASEAN region already has significant production capacity for high-performance composites, so the natural next step is to develop their composite design competencies too. Combined with training, support and know-how from CCS, ESAComp provides an excellent base for learning structural design of advanced composites,” says Mr. Markku Palanterä, General Manager of Componeering.
About Composite Cluster Singapore Pte Ltd (CCS):CCS is active in consulting, engineering, manufacturing and training for advanced composites. Together with its partners, CCS provides the full spectrum of composites solutions, from early-stage feasibility assessments to manufacturing of components. CCS’s mission is to develop new and innovative technologies for high-performance composites products and become a regional competence center to enable customers for global markets.
About Componeering Inc. and ESAComp:Componeering, based in in Helsinki, Finland, is the developer of ESAComp, a software suite for analysis and design of composite structures. ESAComp focuses on conceptual and preliminary design, but its capabilities range also to FE post-processing and analyses of details. The intuitive graphical user interface combines the extensive composite materials database and the analysis features seamlessly, and interfaces with commercial finite element software guarantee smooth workflow in the design process. From its origins in European aerospace, ESAComp has been developed as a general tool for everyone working with composites, both in industry and in research.
