The Engineered Materials business of Cytec Industries Inc. has joined IMAST, a Technology cluster located in Italy - as unveiled on the 29th of April, 2011. IMAST enables collaboration between researchers and engineers of member companies and universities to develop polymer and composite material solutions. Through participation, Cytec will help direct innovation and advance industry knowledge of composite materials and processes.
The goal of IMAST is to enhance the research capabilities and competitiveness of Campania and southern Italy. By teaming with global corporations and academic institutions IMAST develops novel technologies and local talent and expertise in the area of advanced materials.
