Manufacturer of tanks and gas scrubbers acquired two spray-up and one gelcoat machine
Fibermaq supplied the first machines of the new series Evolution to Stringal-Hurner, a Brazilian reference in industrial equipment made of composites, such as tanks, pipes and gas scrubbers, among others. The agreement between the two companies comprised the negotiation of two spray-up and one gelcoat machine. According to Marcos Miotto, director of Stringal-Hurner, the performance of the machines has been quite satisfactory. “Particularly in the case of spray-up equipment, it is worth highlighting some important design enhancements, such as the protection in the piston area, which prevents the accumulation of dust, and the presence of gauge and display to indicate the passage of peroxide, tools that enhance the control of the operation,” he said. Stringal-Hurner has also been operating Fibermaq’s filament winding line since 2014. At the moment, the machine is being used to produce pipes of up to 1.20 m in diameter. “We have increased our presence in the sugar and ethanol industry with these products.” Launched this year, the Evolution series features a complete redesign of Fibermaq machines – in addition to the spray-up and gelcoat machines, the RTM injection equipment also integrate the new family. “The Evolution machines prioritize robustness, ease of operation and the high control of the entire process,” said Christian de Andrade, director of Fibermaq.More information:www.fibermaq.com.br
