Vistagy has been awarded the Frost & Sullivan Global 2011 Customer Value Enhancement Award for work in Composites Design Engineering Solutions. The Frost & Sullivan Award for Customer Value Enhancement is presented each year to the company that has demonstrated excellence in implementing strategies that proactively create value for its customers with a focus on improving the return on the investment that customers make in its services or products.

Frost & Sullivan's Best Practices Report states that "Vistagy has applied its unique core technology, domain expertise, and process knowledge to produce innovative, productive, customer-driven solutions to become a leader in multiple domains. The organization's consistent performance and increasing customer base is a validation of the superior solution suite that has the potential to drive manufacturing competitiveness in the US and throughout the world."

"Vistagy has clearly refined its formula for delivering unique solutions to a large number of users as demonstrated by its 29 percent rise in revenue and addition of high caliber customers in 2010," said Arunkumar Janarthanan, Frost & Sullivan Program Manager. "In our research, we found that the company's customer-centric suite of design engineering solutions is widely valued by users for its ability to solve the most daunting design and manufacturing issues. Vistagy is delivering pioneering solutions that address issues that have not been effectively confronted by other PLM companies and, therefore, they've been able to achieve significant mindshare among end users."

The report goes on to note that "Vistagy's technology prowess enables it to be effectively incorporated into multiple CAD platforms. To effectively address end users' needs and enhance their product delivery capabilities, many CAD and PLM solution providers partner with Vistagy. Some of the leading PLM solution providers, such as Siemens PLM and PTC (as well as Dassault Systèmes), partner with Vistagy to capitalize on its domain expertise through its FiberSIM® composites engineering module, demonstrating Vistagy's unique solution strength and customer recognition as the domain leader."

Further, the report lauded Vistagy's Seat Design Environment(tm) (SDE) software for the design of transportation seating which, it said, ensures "faster time to market, optimal material usage, reduced total engineering costs, and improved cost forecast predictability."

"We're proud to accept this award and want to thank Frost & Sullivan for recognizing our accomplishments," said Bruce Boes, vice president of product management and marketing for Vistagy. "By taking an industry-specific approach to software and services for the aerospace, automotive, wind energy, and marine markets, we're able to provide customer-driven solutions that allow manufacturers to do more with less by optimizing material usage, reducing weight, improving strength to weight ratios, innovating new processes, and incorporating the latest in materials.

"These results have made Vistagy the clear leader in the composites design engineering space, while enabling us to extend our reach past composites into other domains, such as airframe assembly and fastener management, and transportation seating."
