In November 5th, 2008, Hafei and GKN signed subcontract at the Zhuhai air show to produce composite nacelle system for Honey Well HTF7500 engine development. According to the contract, Hafei will provide GKN with 1350 nacelle systems from 2011 to 2028.
Due to the material supply problems the project currently just started the parts test production, and is expected to be delivered the 1st October 2012.
