Hebei Vice Governor visited Japan for in depth cooperation in composites

Hebei vice-governor Nie Chenxi led Hebei province delegation visit Japan recently. They held Tangshan Caofeidian investment environment and Hebei Composites Merchants Investment seminar. The delegates visited Japan-China Economic Association, AEON, met with strong glass steel association responsible person.

This visit is aimed to promote the cooperation between Hebei and Aeon group, Pacific Cement Co Ltd, Mazda, Itou Tada Corporation, Sekisui Chemical Industry Corporation and other Japanese enterprises. Those companies have invested a number of investment projects in Hebei province.


Japan-China Economic Association responsible person said that they will introduce and promote more Japanese enterprises to come to Caofeidian for investment. They observed the opportunities especially in the energy saving, environmental protection, and new energy sectors. They want to strengthen the cooperation in those fields.


Jizhou city and the Japanese Strength Glass Steel Association signed a cooperation framework agreement to build Composite Materials Industry Park in Jizhou. More than 200 Japanese participating firms are very positive on Hebei province area advantages. They believe there are very promising opportunities and the development prospects. They said that they will visit Hebei as soon as possible in particular the Caofeidian area as well as the Jizhou composite industrial park. There are companies expressed the intention of investment. They said that they will accelerate the preliminary work, and actively promote the progress of their projects.
