Interplastic acquires Valspar Technology

Interplastic Corporation, a leading specialty chemical company, announced the acquisition of product technologies from The Valspar Corporation

Under terms of the agreement, Interplastic has acquired the following technologies:

Blush Guard – high performance gel coats specifically designed for the marine industry

Conductive Primer Gel Coat – leading technology primer designed to improve transfer efficiencies of electrostatically applied coatings

Quick Tint – rapid response, locally dispensed, general purpose MACT compliant custom colored gel coats


Interplastic’s acquisition is limited to the technologies, formulations and processing information and does not include any of Valspar’s manufacturing facilities.
