"The new South Carolina facility is evidence of our determination to be further globalized, first creating markets and then supporting them locally,” said Zhang Yuqiang, president of China Jushi. “In 1995, our products entered the U.S. market. We are now exporting capital and want to work with the U.S. to promote the fiberglass industry and market.”

China Jushi USA Corporation has been operating domestically for over twenty years and already has distribution centers in Columbia, S.C.; Elkhart, Ind.; and Irwindale, Calif. The new facility will serve as the company’s new U.S. headquarters and will supply reinforcements to a wide variety of industries including marine, construction, infrastructure, transportation and alternative energy.

“We’re thrilled to be partnering with China Jushi USA Corporation in seeing its first U.S. manufacturing operation become reality,” said Phil Seale, Gray’s executive vice president, manufacturing/food & beverage markets. “We look forward to a successful project that will not only impact the local economy but will also play a role in building America.”
