Following lengthy negotiations, L-3 Link UK Ltd and U.A.E. based Spatial Composite Solutions are pleased to announce the signing of a Long Term Agreement for the supply of Full Flight Pilot Simulator sub modules for L-3 Link’s Reality Seven Simulator manufacturing project.

The contract award follows a recent audit by L-3 Link of Spatial’s manufacturing facility at Ras al Khaimah in the U.A.E and protracted negotiations to agree on all aspects of the new supply contract.

The contract award is a very significant step for both parties. It gives L-3 Link the opportunity to tap into the manufacturing capabilities of a competent UAE based company who are strategically well placed to serve the growing markets in the Middle East and the Pacific Rim, while it also enhances Spatial’s reputation within the aviation industry where it already holds a significant share of the global market for cabin crew training devices.

The 5 year agreement was signed by Nick Bendall, L-3 Link’s Operations Director and Joseph McKeever Spatial’s C.E.O., and will result in Spatial supporting L-3 Link’s commitment to provide training devices that deliver the lowest life cycle cost with the highest degrees of reliability.

‘It’s a great way to start the new year!” commented McKeever “Spatial is a home grown, privately owned U.A.E. company. This award by L-3 Link recognises not only our design and manufacturing capability but also once again demonstrates Spatial’s ability to win overseas contracts within the aviation training industry including current orders in the United States, Italy, India and Singapore. We look forward to 2016 with great confidence and self belief.”
