Lean manufacturing expert to lead TRB Lightweight Structures

The company announced that it has hired Richard Holland as its managing director.

The change is part of a long-term strategic plan to meet global demand by continuously strengthening the team, increasing capabilities and improving facilities at the company.

Mr. Holland has been a lean practitioner since 1995, focusing on manufacturing in the automotive, aerospace, consumer goods and rail industries. His experience includes Supply Chain Director and Divisional Vice President at a U.S.-based Amana plant with nearly $1 billion in sales. He was most recently Vice President at TBM Consulting Group, a global consulting firm that helps clients create operational excellence. At TBM, Richard developed the European team and was instrumental in supporting the lean efforts of companies such as Alstom, Zodiac, and Eurostar.
