JEC Group have brought together the international community of composites leaders and executives in our Composites Circle as an unique networking opportunity to meet with both peers and future partners.
Professor and Architect Mark Goulthorpe, of the MIT Department of Architecture, confirmed as guest keynote speaker for the Future of Composites in Construction.
Once again, MVP will conduct live demonstrations of Flex Molding Process on their stand at the JEC Show Paris. The demonstrations will include a part infusion with the new reusable membrane, using the Patriot Pro Innovator Injection System.
Since its introduction to Composites production over two decades ago, Closed Molding has required a high cost and a high learning curve to introduce it into the manufacturing process. It has been rigid, both in the mold itself and the exacting injection system standards required to insure consistent part production. In 2010, Magnum Venus Plastech changed all this with the introduction of Flex Molding Process. Flex Molding Process makes not only moving production to closed molding easier and more flexible, but the counter-mold itself has become a simple to make, reusable flexible membrane. Once again, MVP will conduct live demonstrations of Flex Molding Process on their stand (#T32) at the JEC Exhibition at the Paris Expo Center. The demonstrations will include a part infusion with the new reusable membrane, using the Patriot™ Pro Innovator Injection System. One of the cornerstones to making an affordable, efficient reusable membrane is the Patriot™ Duo 1:1 Silicone System. Features of this system include: Proven Patriot™ technology Gravity Feed Tanks that provide positive accurate meter dispense Proven to dispense multiple silicone materials efficiently Portable rugged design Disposable mixers for quick clean-up Fluid section and powerhead modularity allows for quick change to accommodate 1.5 lbs (0.6 kg) to 6 lbs (2.7 kg) output/flow rates Internal mix Pro Gun with splatter nozzle specifically designed for consistent, controlled spray of silicone materials. And much more… The Patriot Duo 1:1 Silicone System can be used not only to pour and spray silicone materials, but also as an injection system for making silicone parts making it the most versatile silicone system available today. In the last nine months, this system has proven itself in demonstrations and installations around the world including: Australia, China, France, Germany, Holland, Malaysia, Japan, Russia, and more. In addition to the Flex Molding Process Systems, Magnum Venus Plastech will also showcase several specialty systems including the new MicroPro Proportioner, ideal for pultrusion manufacturing, and the Universal Proportioner. MVP will exhibit at the JEC Show Europe in Paris from March 29th to 31th, 2011 at booth T32.
Here are few examples and update of these two techniques which can be seen in many application sectors now.
