JEC Europe 2012 - The ThermoPlastic Composites Research Centre (TPRC) will be exhibiting for the first time at JEC 2012. TPRC is an open innovation centre that focuses on thermoplastic composites for a broad range of end use markets.

The centre was created by Boeing, Fokker, Ten Cate and the University of Twente in 2009. TPRC has been in an accelerated growth phase since 2011, with a new dedicated laboratory, additional staff and new members joining the consortium. Within TPRC, industrial partners work together as a whole value chain to accelerate the application of thermoplastic composites.

The knowledge and intellectual property of TPRC are primarily meant for the members within the TPRC consortium, but TPRC is also a centre for knowledge dissemination to the wider public, e.g. technical colleges and schools. TPRC is co-funded by the EU, the Dutch Province of Overijssel and the Twente region.
