Meredith Siegfried, Nordam CEO, announces expansion of a structural-component repair agreement with Airbus Materials & Logistics Management, allowing the aerospace firm to further its support of Airbus operators across the Americas.

As the North American repair station for the France-based aircraft manufacturer, Nrdam repairs proprietary flight-control surfaces used on the A320 aircraft. The recently broadened work scope now includes replacement of elevator fittings and skin panels, with Airbus Materials & Logistics Management transferring related tooling to Nordam’s Repair Division at Pine Street and Highway 169.

Likewise, tooling for A300-600 and A310 elevators arrived in late 2014, facilitating further the company service to the global A300 aircraft community. Last month, the company celebrated “Airbus Day” at its Transparency facility here, welcoming Airbus Materials & Logistics Management representatives at a special assembly marking that division’s production of the 100,000th A320 cabin window.
