Nordam promotes Schlegel to Vice President, Supply Chain Management

Mike Bunney, Nordam Senior Vice President of Support Services, announced Brian J. Schlegel has been promoted to vice president, supply chain management on the 01st of November 2011.

In his new position, Schlegel leads the aerospace firm’s global procurement, inventory planning, transportation and logistics efforts across all divisions.

“Brian's aerospace supply-chain background is diverse and his skills in strategic sourcing led to this new assignment,” Bunney said.

“His expertise will help Nordam secure the resources required to grow our footprint within the global aerospace market.”

Prior to joining Nordam as director of supply chain for the Repair division in 2009, Schlegel served in a similar role for GE Aviation’s Americas division.

His other past positions include director of general operations, and later site leader, for Goodrich Lighting Systems.

Schlegel holds a master of science in management from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, Troy, N.Y., and a bachelor of science in finance from the University of Connecticut, Storrs, Conn.
