Pell-Tec Pelletizing Technology GmbH has changed its company name to Coperion Pelletizing Technology GmbH. The company will continue operations under its current managing directors Michael Schuler and Bernhard Stern.
The development and construction of strand pelletizing systems for standard and engineering plastics will continue to be the company’s focus. Besides more office space, considerably largerfactory grounds will be available at the new site in Offenbach for the improvement andexpansion of the company’s production and assembly facilities. This increase in available space is a decisive prerequisites for the continued expansion ofCoperion Pelletizing Technology’s product range. Their systematic growth strategy andcontinued broadening and deepening of competence as a manufacturer of pelletizing systems for compounding extruders are major initiatives for them.
The company is currently developing larger pelletizing systems suitable for output rates of over6,000 kg/hour, as well as pelletizers featuring higher wear resistance and more powerful drivesystems for use in processing engineering plastics with high glass fibre content. The outputrates of a specially developed series of pelletizers have been optimized for combined operationwith Coperion’s Series ZSK Mc18 compounding extruders. The combination of thesecompounding extruders and the strand pelletizers constitute a reliably functioning unit that canoperate without concern about the compatibility of mechanical or control system interfaces.Coperion has been developing and constructing bulk materials handling systems for thealuminium producing industry from raw materials receiving up to electrolysis at its site inOffenbach for more than six years.
