The company further expands its service business with industrial production systems for aircraft manufacturing. Premium Aerotec will set up a structure assembly line for the new Russian commercial aircraft programme MS-21 in cooperation with mechanical and plant engineering group Dürr.
A respective order has been awarded to Dürr by the Russian aircraft manufacturer Irkut during MAKS Air Show in Moscow mid-August. Premium Aerotec is Europe’s number one supplier of aerostructures and possesses a business unit dedicated to the construction of the relevant production systems. In the context of the MS-21 programme, Premium Aerotec will be in charge for assembly lines for shells, the floor structure and the cockpit section including preassembly.
