Prestigious VIPs to celebrate JEC Asia 5th anniversary

JEC Asia is proud and honoured to announce the visit of prominent guests during the Opening Ceremony of JEC Asia 2012, Tuesday June, 26 at 4pm at Suntec Convention Center.

Malaysia being selected as country of honour for JEC Asia 2012, the country former Prime minister, Tun Dr. Mahathir bin Mohamad will mark the Ceremony with his esteemed presence, receiving a Life Achievement Awards from JEC and the entire Composites Industry. TunDr. Mahathir bin Mohamad has been Malaysia’s longest serving Prime minister and has had a political career over 40 years. The country experienced rapid modernisation and economic growth thanks to his tenure as Prime minister and series of bold infrastructures projects have been initiated by him. His Life Achievement Award will respect the work of his entire career and through this, promote the products, technologies, research and professional skills of the Malaysian composites Industry.  

JEC Asia 2012 will also stage the celebration of a Business Achievement Award to Mr.Datuk Rosdi Mahmud, CEO of CTRM (Composites Technology Research Malaysia Sdn.Bhd) as well as an Award Tribute to Mr. Tsai Chao Fang, CEO of Singapore Highpolymer Chemical Products Pte Ltd.

The ceremony will also be privileged with the presence of Mr. Federico Palomera, Spanish Ambassador to Singapore, Ms. Viets, German Ambassador to Singapore, Mr. Marut Jitpatima, Thai Ambassador to Singapore, Mr. Oh Joon, South Korean Ambassador to Singapore, Mr. Doug Chester,  Australian High Commissioner to Singapore, H.E. Dato’ Md Hussin Nayan, Malaysian High Commissioner to Singapore and Counsellors from the Russian and Turkish Embassies in Singapore.
