JEC Group have brought together the international community of composites leaders and executives in our Composites Circle as an unique networking opportunity to meet with both peers and future partners.
The company has been awarded a milestone contract to certify and produce Boeing 787 Dreamliner stowage bin fittings for the 787-9 model.
“We are honored to be a part of this exciting new generation of aircraft,” said Quatro Composites’ President, Steve Roesner. “Boeing’s strategy of converting metallic fittings to composite for its weight and cost benefits is perfectly in line with Quatro’s vision and core competencies.” Quatro Composites and the Boeing Fabrication Interiors Responsibility Center will work together to certify the composite fittings, with entry into service coinciding with the 787-9 Dreamliner configuration. Quatro’s award contract includes tooling, and parts certification, testing and production.
