Shuangyi world's largest wind turbine nacelle cover taken off the assembly line

Last month, one 7MW offshore wind turbine nacelle cover made by the Shangdong Shuangyi Group Co., Ltd (Shuangyi Group) for Japan Mitsubishi Group has been smoothly taken off the assembly line. And the unveiling ceremony was held at the same time.

The nacelle cover is 16 meters long, 9 meters wide, and 9 meters high, which is the China's largest wind turbine nacelle cover, and even can be considered the in the first on the list of the types in the world.

The successful 7MW offshore wind turbine nacelle cover marked a solid step in the process for the company to participate in the world high-end composite material industry and the building of high-end composite materials industry base in China.

Shuangyi Group is located in Xinhua Industrial Park in Dezhou City, Shangdong province. It covers an area of 500000 m² with a total asset of 350 million Yuan (US$ 60 million) and a registered capital of 52 million Yuan (US$ 9 million).

The company integrates composite product design, manufacturing and services mainly engaged in wind turbine nacelle cover, carbon fiber products, non-metallic mold, yacht body, medical equipment parts, engineering machinery vehicle cover, rail and public transportation covering parts and other products.

Shuangyi Group adheres to the annual investment of more than 6.8 million Yuan (US$ 1.13 million) in technological innovation. This year, Shuangyi completed more than 60 technical innovations. The products have been sold to well-known enterprises such as Germany Siemens, Denmark Vestas, China Gold Wind and United Power. In 2012, Shuangyi Group has achieved sales income of nearly 300 million Yuan (US$ 50 million).
