JEC Europe 2014 - With NCSIMUL Machine 9.1, the latest version of its flagship machining simulation software, Spring Technologies is bringing its expertise in NC program simulation (supporting ISO and other codes) to the process of manufacturing parts in composite materials. 

The new “composites” functionalities enable smarter, more realistic, and more efficient lay-up simulation, supporting a wide range of manufacturing methods. Users can now simulate lay-up processes executed by numerical control machines (including robots), integrating technical publishing for documents such as worksheets (NCdoc), and automating numerous simulation process functions.

While the use of paper documents demands complex, unreliable procedures, NCSIMUL Publisher, deployed on Panasonic’s Toughpad, offers users real-time access to process documents such as job travellers, enabling full document traceability throughout the manufacturing process. With this solution, users can manage the life cycle of their manufacturing document sets, and easily share and publish technical data, while Panasonic’s rugged Toughpad tablet enables unrestricted mobility on the shop floor and a wide range of connectivity options guaranteeing a unique, dedicated user experience.
