Strongwell announces manufacturer’s representative agreement with Coombs-Hopkins

The company, headquartered in Bristol, Virginia, has announced an agreement with The Coombs-Hopkins Company to be its manufacturer’s representative in the water/wastewater market.

The Coombs-Hopkins Company, headquartered in Carlsbad, California, serves California, Nevada, Southern Idaho, Utah, and Arizona through its five branches.

The addition of Strongwell’s fiber reinforced polymer (FRP) product line, known for its corrosion resistance and durability, expands Coombs-Hopkins’ product offerings in a market continuously challenged with corrosion and lifespan issues.

Headquartered in Bristol, Virginia, Strongwell is one of the world’s leading and largest pultruder of fiber reinforced polymer composites. The company has pultrusion manufacturing facilities in Bristol, VA, Washington County, VA and Chatfield, MN. Strongwell is a privately-held company, producing products including structural shapes, grating, handrail, structural building panels, decking systems, composite armor, ladder rail, and many OEM products for its diverse customer base.
