Prof.Dr. Markus Lienkamp, full professor at the Institute of Automotive Technology at the University of Applied Sciences in Munich, will support the top-notch jury of the eCarTec Award.
Markus Lienkamp, board member of the VDI Fachgesellschaft Fahrzeug- und Verkehrstechnik (Association of German Engineers) and Head of the Science Center electric mobility and of the CREATE project Singapore, is specialized in the research of new vehicle concepts in the field of electric mobility.Mr. Prof. Dr. Lienkamp is the ninth member to assist this year’s team including Martin Altepost (TÜV Süd Automotive GmbH), Dr. Christian Cornelissen (VDE Prüf- und Zertifizierungsinstitut GmbH), Dr. Karlhorst Klotz (Mobility2.0), Dr. Reinhard Kolke (ADAC e.V.), Robert Metzger (MunichExpo Veranstaltungs GmbH), Prof. Dr. Josef Nassauer (Bayern Innovativ GmbH), Thomic Ruschmeyer (BSM Bundesverband Solare Mobilität e.V.) and Markus Schöttle (ATZ Elektronik).The team will evaluate all submissions according to criteria, such as scientific/technical performance, innovation, safety, sustainability and feasibility.Companies, research institutes and project groups may submit their innovative products and concepts by August 30, 2013 for the various categories including electric car, electric motorbike, electric utility vehicle, drive technology, system electrics, testing systems, storage technology, system integration, energy, infrastructure, connection technology, product concept/vision as well as for the special category sustainable mobility concepts.The winners will be announced during a festive ceremony on October 15, 2013, the first trade fair day of eCarTec Munich 2013.
